    The crisis has exposed a sharp generational divide at the heart of our society. Just as millennials were getting their lives on track after the financial crisis, coronavirus has pulled the rug from underneath them. Young people’s lives have been upended to save older generations, but now governments will face strong pressure to help those under 40 – many of whom feel the system is rigged against them. Which policies would reshape society to give millennials a better chance for the future? The underfunding of social care can also no longer be ignored, but who will pay for it?
